Notions: Sulky Products has two new stabilizers that I have been using and love them. FABRI-SOLVY water-soluble stabilizer designed to be used as a topper or backing, it has a soft, silky feel against the skin and behaves like fabric during embroidery. Fabri-Solvy can be hooped alone and computerized embroidery can be done directly onto it. Can be used as a base for thread lace making or scarves. Second one is FUSE'N STITCH Cut-Away Permanent Stabilizer Provides heavy, permanently fused stability to stitch on all medium to heavyweight fabrics for more professional looking results. Especially suitable for high-stitch count or high-stitch density embroidery designs. Both these stabilizers come in a flat 1-yard package or roll dispenser packages in a variety of widths. We're very excited about our Robinson-Anton Super Brite Polyester embroidery thread in a new spinner rack that allows us to provide more color variety in a smaller area. This super Brite polyester thread is stronger than the traditional rayon embroidery thread, which allows the newer embroidery machines to sew at their highest levels without breakage. Another feature of polyester thread is its colorfastness. Colorfastness is great for items that need to be laundered more frequently, like clothing and towels.

We have a wide variety of stabilizers and dry cover up. Dry cover up comes in a wide variety of colors. Use this on top of your embroidery to prevent fabric from showing through your stitching. This is especially helpful if you have a large section of one color. Then, you just tear off the excess when your done stitching. |
